Clive Tilley Best bit: Still here. Watched my two boys grow up here and now seeing
my six grandchildren here. Count my blessings.

John Allen Clive Tilley
Was it the best part of my life being brought up in Porthleven . Yes my childhood was
very good . Being brought up by my father and grandparents . A proper Cornish
village .
I left Porthleven ,and worked in Chatham dockyard ,for many years . Missing my
home ,which I found difficult .But when I thought about the very happy days I had at
home ,life did not seem to bad . Life is strange I am back home in Cornwall now .But
not Porthleven .
