Hilary Lomas Are we not the lucky ones that have these memories. Our kids,
grandkids and great grandkids will never know them, so it's great that we can share
them now.

Rosemary Craven We had such idyllic childhoods Hilary, when I see the restrictions
on the lives of my grandchildren I realise how lucky I was! Last evening I read some
of these posts to my sister on the phone and we were sharing memories for almost an
hour!

Hilary Lomas We made outside our playground, not curled up with electronic games
and i-pods etc.

Rosemary Craven My playground mainly was the beach in front of our house but I
would wander all over Porthleven and often stay out all day but my parents were
never worried about paedophiles etc, it was a different age.

Hilary Lomas My mother's sister married a Stanley Ruberry, I think some of the
Riberry's moved to Bermuda, according to my cousins.

Clive Tilley Brought back memories John Allen. Born and raised Crackington Haven
