Rosemary Craven John, my brother reminded me today about when he and some
other boys made a raft. The got hold of four oil drums and some planks of wood.
They tied it all together with wool which Mark took from our sisters knitting bag,
floated it in the harbour and got on board. Half way across the harbour the wool
disintegrated, the raft broke up and they had to swim. One of the boys was Tony
Giles, were you with them?
