Oral History Training Testimonial

Daisy was a pleasure to work with. With her collections management expertise and deep understanding of the nuances of working for a small, rural museum, she was able to tailor her training to perfectly suit our volunteers. Daisy delivered a bespoke oral history video training session. The course was interactive, engaging and professional, adhering to national standards for best practice in museums. Her training style was personable; we all enjoyed the session and the time just flew by! Her passion for collections - and the stories they tell, of people and place - is infectious. We would recommend any Cornish community museum use Daisy's services. e daisyculmer@googlemail.com
When we approached Kathy and chatted about photographic training it was obvious she knew instantly what was required and established the project. Unfortunately Covid-19 created the lock down and halted the project. In no time Kathy come up with another idea and the project moved in a different direction coming up with the idea of recording the lock down by asking the people of Porthleven to select a window in their home to take a photograph from. This was a family and individual challenge. What followed was totally unexpected. Kathy is now assisting the museum with her expertise. We would recommend anyone in need of a professional photographic service to contact Kathy. e kathleenjeanwhite@gmail.com
