Visitors do not have to register to enjoy the content of Porthleven's museum but it costs nothing to join.
Registration offers the opportunity to add to the museum's archives sharing your material with everyone whilst maintaining complete ownership.
Lifeguard Hut being lowered into position from Mounts Road, onto Blue Buoy Steps above the beach 23 June 2016.
The lorry delivering this lifeguard apparatus has to reverse all the way down Shrubberies Hill requiring great skill and stamina from the driver. At the end of the season the process has to be reversed as the weather is too severe to leave the unit in position throughout the winter storms.
